Fog Intelligence for Secure Smart Villages: Architecture, and Future Challenges

نویسندگان

چکیده

The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is considered the foundation for next-generation smart villages due to its ability use sustainable information and communication technologies. can enable real-time data analytics automate decision-making local villagers in terms agriculture, health care, transportation, environment, energy. However, most wireless sensing devices exchange using public networks therefore may not be able resist all forms attacks. Additionally, IoT are resource restricted cloud servers process store data. when communicate with computing centers, volume causes network congestion. To provide secure services close end devices, a new architecture called Distributed Fog Computing (DFC) created integrated IoT-based deployment. Motivated from aforementioned discussions, this article explores integration DFC improving security privacy solutions Consumer Electronic (CE) devices. As case study, we also design evaluate performance an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) DFC-based village environment. Finally, discuss several open issues challenges regarding Fog-to-Things enabled villages.

A Mobile and Fog-based Computing Method to Execute Smart Device Applications in a Secure Environment

With the rapid growth of smart device and Internet of things applications, the volume of communication and data in networks have increased. Due to the network lag and massive demands, centralized and traditional cloud computing architecture are not accountable to the high users' demands and not proper for execution of delay-sensitive and real time applications. To resolve these challenges, we p...

Challenges and Solutions of Secure Smart Environments

Security challenges of smart spaces, e.g., smart homes, smart buildings, and smart cities based on Internet connected devices and systems, are related to the main philosophy of smart environments; the freedom to use available devices for the purpose in hand of end-users, and to make it happen easily and hopefully without human-intervention. But what are the security solutions that promote the b...

Three Challenges for Future Smart Object Systems

The notion of Ambient Intelligence was introduced to describe a scenario in which, literally, computing is everywhere. This should not be taken in the narrow-minded sense of a computer on every desk, but in the rather subtler one of computers becoming embedded in everyday objects and augmenting them with information processing capabilities. Part of this vision is already becoming a reality, as ...

Future Smart Device Development Architecture

The spreading use of wireless internet and smartphone accelerates the growth of locationbased service and mobile-cloud computing. However, mobile computing devices such as smartphones, personal media players, pose challenges due to its intrinsic nature of battery capacity, constraints of wireless networks and device limitation. First, a fundamental challenge arises from power-inefficiency of lo...
